I’m Vic, a 29 year old married lady, living and working in Sheffield after five years in London and a sojourn in Tokyo. I basically use this blog to jettison all the jetsam of my brain: it used to be about baking and punk rock, but now not so much. It mainly started when I decided to become more of a producer than a consumer, but my production aspect has rather fallen by the wayside in the last year. Basically since I got Sky Atlantic.

Mainly I post about stuff that I’ve done or find inspiring, adorable or delicious here, and occasionally, old band interviews I’ve done and rants about hardcore music. Don’t expect to find material of any depth or cultural significance here.  The internet is not the place to report on your own worthiness – there are far more edifying blogs to visit if you’re looking for that.  I prefer giving a shit about others in real life, rather than boasting about it online.

I’d like to add a disclaimer that at no point do I ever apply any of my professional proofreading or copywriting skills to my blog writing. It’s fun. That  means I largely don’t give a crap about swearing or split infinitives.

What else do I do? I ride my two track bicycles most places.  I sew a bit,  obsess over my Boston terrier, try to eat my own weight in sugar and saturated fat each day (no, seriously…) and expend a lot of energy worrying about unnecessary things.
